What car is convenient to me ?

Living in the middle east offers is an opportunity to discover and experience off-roading, nice beach spots, camping and adventure spots.

Choice of your car will depend on your needs and hobbies.

Should I go for a 4x4 car?

A 4x4 is suitable for the region, it will give you the liberty to go almost everywhere, those type of cars are very popular and appreciated by locals and expats, it is a must have for anyone willing to discover spots such as desert dunes, sand beaches, and will allow an easy access to mountains and mangroves and rocky roads.

A 4x4 car is also suitable to be used as a family car, it has a big capacity and is quite spacious for a family. 

The other advantage is most of the car brands are represented and it is easy to find spare parts and to do maintenance.

If you are caution about fuel consumption, then you need to consider that 4x4 cars are generally high fuel consuming cars, but still, low fuels cost in the region is also an advantage.

What about SUV?

SUV is a car segment that is mainly appreciated for the practicality, safety, and versatility. Fuel consumption is lower than 4x4 cars, and driving experience is smooth and very comfortable. Perfectly suitable for families, but not only! This segment is being more and more an alternative for the sedan.

In the middle east, you can use your sedan to easily access to sand beach, and some outside areas, but would not be recommended to experience off-roading, as the difference with most of 4x4 cars is that only few SUVs have the four-wheel drive option and have lower torque comparing to 4x4, basically you can go almost everywhere, but not adventure too much!

What if I prefer a Sedan!

Yes, Sedan car segment is a classic, popular, and reliable segment so far. Sedan cars are very popular in the middle east, especially when you are a city driver and not much into adventuring in off-roading. Fuel consumption is lower than 4x4 segment, but depending on the engine size and car power, you should consider different levels of fuel consumption when making your choice. If you like it, just go for it!

I am more into sporty driving, I like coupe, and convertible cars…

You need a car for the weekend? You are a couple or a single driver and like to enjoy sporting vehicles, you want to go for a circuit drive test, experience speed and push your car to its limit? Then go for this type of cars. Most of big cities in the middle east have new and nice roads, very convenient for this type of cars, if you go for it, of course you need to consider a budget, as these sporty cars are more expensive then classic sedan, also check the availability of spare parts. Fuel consumption is also another point to consider, but still, it is worth the driving experience. Enjoy it!
